If you were to go with the Black version, which Zach and Ish both went for, it comes with a WiFi Remote which allows you to do everything you could do if you had the camera in your hands without having to bother with taking the GoPro off the mount when its on your helmet or dashboard. These allow you to attach the GoPro to any ski pole and create a 3rd person view without needing someone to follow you all the time. Whether you are filming Point Of View angles or recording others, the new GoPro has such a realistic quality to it, there really isn’t any camera that comes close.Needless to say, this purchase was a stretch for our budgets but looking back, this was the best purchase we made all season! Next is the Chesty mount, which usually does well for skiers but when snowboarders use the Chesty most of their footage is of the woods on the sides of the trail. However, this just goes to show that as our televisions and computers keep evolving, the GoPro will be ready to handle any range of resolutions you may come across in the future. You can even take picture clips from videos that you record after putting them into the GoPro Editor Software. The Silver edition doesn’t come with the remote nor do all the tech stats listed above come standard with the Silver. We obviously recommend getting the Black as it is the best one but any of the three models are great cameras and more than suitable for whatever you are looking to do with them. No expense was spared during its development, resulting in a GoPro that is 30% smaller, 25% lighter and 2x more powerful than previous models. It’s not the most advanced software out there but it recognizes when you take time lapse photos so when you drag and drop all your photos it will put them together into a nice flip book-like video.
